From The Southern Issinoisan: Southern Illinois farmer sees technology reshape agriculture
HARRISBURG — Fourth-generation farmer Joseph Raben has spent nearly three decades watching technology reshape the way Southern Illinois farmers work, from planting and spraying to steering a tractor across the field.
Raben, of Ridgway, was among dozens of farmers who visited AgRevolution’s Harrisburg location Wednesday for the company’s Massey Ferguson and Fendt Roadshow, where producers compared equipment and learned about the latest precision agriculture technology.
