"In 2021, we purchased a new Schäffer 2028-2 yard loader for our horse breeding and boarding business. We are very satisfied with the agile, extremely manoeuvrable machine. It has become indispensable in daily use on the farm. The only thing I have often wished for is a slightly more spacious operator`s platform due to my height of 193 cm. When I recently had the opportunity to take a seat on a brand new yard loader of the same design at an agricultural machinery dealer, I immediately noticed the more comfortable seating position. On closer inspection, it turned out that a different model from the seat manufacturer Grammer was installed, which is higher and can therefore be pushed further back. That same evening, I contacted the general Schäffer e-mail address at the Erwitte plant with my issue and some technical questions. To my surprise, I not only received a competent answer to my questions within a very short time, but also an attractive offer for the corresponding seat. Great! A convincing example of solution-orientated, appreciative handling of a customer enquiry! I`ve had very different experiences with other agricultural machinery manufacturers.
